Shay Lee Giertz writes clean fiction for the young adult and new adult markets. Although her work is not overtly religious, she writes suspenseful stories full of heart and faith.

When she is not writing, she teaches English at the local college, as well as volunteers within her community. Originally from Michigan, one of her favorite places is along the shores of the Great Lakes. She now lives in North Carolina with her family, but she still visits her home state every chance she can. Since she can’t live there anymore, she enjoys writing about the Mitten state and the lakes that surround it in her novels.
